ABOUT JUPITER

     Jupiter the resort bort in 1969, neighbours with Comorova forest . It’s a small, but cozy resort, with two and three stars hotels recently built or rearranged, some of them with a spectacular view to the cliff. The structur balance of the resort is complemented by a bold and supple vertical of big capacity hotels, which are located perpendicularly on the seashore, while the lower buildings are placed in the center of the resort. Camping places within the Holiday Village offer a good alternative for accommodation due to their comforts, small prices and thei location in a quite and green area.

    The beach has several hundreds meters and is similar to the beach in Neptun, being broad and with fine sand.

GEOGRAPHY, CLIMATE AND HYSTORY

    Located in the Comorova (forest) area, Jupiter has a warmer climate than Costinesti, Eforie or Mamaia resorts. The sea currents have a great contribution to the climate. The climate is temperate with Mediterranean marine influences which cause spring to come earlier and autumn to be slightly late. The marine climate typical to the Black Sea area features thermal stability of the atmosphere. Temperatures during the summer are no higher than 36 degrees Celsius. Sunshine reaches 10-12 hours/day.

THE BEACH

JUPITER

    The Jupiter resort’s beach measures 26, 843 square meters and water quality is excellent. Water sports such as sky jet, scuba diving classes can be practiced. There is special area designed for small children. Sea hydro bikes rides can be had and football and volleyball courts are set up. Also, the sand here is relatively soft and all along the beach there are areas set up with deck chairs and sun umbrellas for tourists to use.

CAPE AURORA

    The resort covers 25,289 square meters, sand quality is acceptable, water quality is good and the beach is clean and well kept. Beach equipment includes: chaises longues, umbrellas, sea rescue and first aid services.

    There is also a tennis court on the beach for those who don’t want to enjoy water sports of hydro bike rides.

FOOD AND ACCOMMODATION

    Most of 3 star hotels of the resort have been renovated and updated over time to meet tourist expectations.  Jupiter resort villas and guest houses are newly built and are concentrated in the center of the resort. For those who prefer accommodation in tents, there is a camping. Dining possibilities are multiple. Besides the restaurants that belong to hotels, there are numerous open air bistros and butiques, pizzerias and fast food restaurants spread throughout the resort.

HEALTH SPA TREATMENT

    For treatment, natural cure factors are being used: sea water, sapropelic mud, sulphurous waters.

RECREATION

     Jupiter resort is a quiet one, as well as Cap Aurora; however the means of entertainment and relaxation are not at all limited. The water sports represent an excellent alternative for those who love water. There is an entertainment area for children, situated on the lakes which link Jupiter to Neptun, where they can use the pedal boat which has the shape of a swan. Inside the resort there are locations where you can play billiard, bowling or table tennis.
